It's good for :

Family short gateway. If Taronga Zoo is too far and your children is at toddler age. Featherdale is a good alternative for smaller size of the zoo where you still can find Australian's animals like koala and wallaby. It is a family friendly animal park. You will be welcome with a wide range of birds and pelicans. After that you can meet koalas and take a picture with them. During our visit, we practice with the boy on how to pronounce each animal names. He loves to observe the baby penguins swimming. We missed the ranch section where you can see turkey, chickens, pigs, etc. O well, we will definitely visit Featheredale again next time!

Tips:

Wear an enclosed shoes. Do wash kids hands after the activities especially the younger one who tends to put everything inside mouth.
